Monotony

Hiking out of scissors crossing today was brutal. It starts in a bit valley and you go right up a mountain. Once over the climb, I was riding the ridge all day. It was a slow steady climb with tons of over growth that whacked away at my legs all day. It felt like every time I finally got around a ridge, I saw another ridge that looked exactly the same.

The one piece of intrigue was that there were a lot of caterpillars out today. They were very big and juicy. One ridge section has an exceptionally high amount of them and was swarmed by a murder of crows, which I am pretty sure were out to feast on the caterpillar buffet
